Terms of Service
Version 2026-09 · Effective 4 September 2026
These Terms govern your use of mentorsHub, the internal mentoring platform provided by Your Organisation. By creating an account or continuing to use the platform you agree to them.
1. Eligibility and your account
Accounts are for current members of Your Organisation and authorised participants only. Keep your credentials confidential, use accurate profile information and do not share or transfer your account.
2. Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for mentoring and learning purposes.
- Do not harass, discriminate against, or behave unprofessionally towards other participants.
- Do not upload unlawful, offensive or infringing content, malware, or anything you do not have the right to share.
- Do not scrape the directory, or use contact details obtained here for recruitment, marketing or any purpose unrelated to mentoring.
- Do not attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours.
3. Professional conduct in mentoring
Mentors and mentees are expected to honour scheduled sessions, give reasonable notice when rescheduling, and engage respectfully. Mentoring is developmental guidance — it is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and it does not create any employment or reporting relationship between participants.
4. Confidentiality
Session notes, goals, tasks and shared resources belong to the mentoring pair and are visible to that pair and to programme administrators. Treat what is shared in a session as confidential and do not repeat it outside the mentoring relationship without permission. Do not record sessions without the consent of everyone involved, and do not put customer data, personal sensitive information or confidential business material into notes.
5. Content you submit
You keep responsibility for the content you submit and confirm you are entitled to share it. You grant Your Organisation the right to store and display that content within the platform for the purpose of running the mentoring programme.
6. Feedback and ratings
Ratings and written feedback must be honest, fair and given in good faith. Feedback is used to improve the programme and to help others choose a mentor; abusive or retaliatory feedback may be removed.
7. Administration and suspension
Programme administrators may approve or decline mentor applications, manage skills and programmes, and suspend or delete accounts that breach these Terms or are no longer eligible. Deleting an account also removes the associated profile, requests and mentoring records as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and disclaimer
The platform is provided on an “as is” basis. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of mentoring conversations or automatically generated suggestions.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When the change is material we will publish a new version and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.
